FORMER basketball star Jerry Codinera and teen cage phenom Ella Patrice Fajardo are the latest goodwill ambassadors of Milo’s latest campaign “Mula Noon Hanggang Ngayon, Tuloy ang Pagiging Champion!” that urges the youth to exercise and remain healthy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We launched this campaign to show parents that despite the pandemic there are still ways for their children to remain active and healthy at home by sharing the sports journey of our past sports heroes,” Nestle Phils. assistant vice president Lester Castillo said yesterday during the Philippine Sportswriters Association online forum.
Castillo, Codinera and Fajardo were joined in the session backed by the Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corp., Milo, Go for Gold, San Miguel Corp., Amelie Hotel, Braska Restaurant and Smart by Milo Phils. chief and Nestle vice president Veronica Cruz.
“Given our present condition, I would like to add two words to our latest Milo campaign that magbago man ang panahon, Milo will be there to help our children in chasing their sports and other dreams. That is why we exist as a brand. To nourish their dreams of success,” Cruz said. “Sports is a great teacher.”
