ASIDE from e-sports, online chess, and online “speed kicking,” the NCAA is eyeing to launch another novel virtual event in its 96th season.
A highly-reliable Malaya-Business Insight said the league is finalizing the details of the online event but declined to add more details, for now.
“There is one event that the NCAA is planning to launch. . . just finalizing the details,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said.
“Aside from online chess and taekwondo online speed kicking, the NCAA is considering that event.”
The source said the event would be participated in by the 10-member schools and will not require approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases since it will be held online.
