SIX years of Volkswagen in the Philippines is being celebrated this September, at Trinoma mall on September 21 and 22. It will feature a special 8-car display showcasing the accessorized Santana sub-compact sedan, Santana GTS hatchback and the Lavida compact sedan, with the Lavida Club Edition and Club Edition+ (dealer options) as highlight vehicles.
The “Volkswagen 6th Anniversary Celebration” will also offer activities for every member of the family. Children 9 to 12 years old can participate in the activation of the award-winning Volkswagen Child Safety Initiative campaign with its Steps to Safety module that addresses pedestrian safety with kids and their parents engaging in a seminar. After which, the kids play a 7-level virtual reality (VR) game that simulates walking through a busy road network, and requires players to use pedestrian crossings, overpasses and follow road signs. Kids who pass all 7 levels get their Volkswagen safety badge.
This fun event will also see the official Volkswagen mascot “Wolfi” greet visitors, while freebies will be given away to customers who reserve their Volkswagen cars or participate in the test drive. Volkswagen premium bags will also be given for onsite purchases.
To get the good cheers of the coming holiday months, great deals through cash discounts will be offered for the the Lavida (less P85K), Santana MPI MT (less P30K) and Santana MPI AT S and SE (less P10K), to go on top of the free Periodic Maintenance Services (PMS) for the first three years for these models.
This mall tour of VW PH is part of its aggressive push to reach out to more Filipinos, which includes strengthening its nationwide dealership network. Last August 16, it inaugurated the Volkswagen Santa Rosa dealership in Laguna province–its 8th overall and its first in the southern Luzon region.
Soon to open will be Volkswagen Cagayan de Oro, its first dealership in Mindanao.
For the “Volkswagen 6th Anniversary Celebration,” the Volkswagen display will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on September 21 and 22.
