    Ford PH offers cash discounts up to P100K

    FORD Philippines is offering cash discounts in its SUV, pickup, and van lineup until March 31, 2020, giving customers more deals available for a longer period of time.

    “With our Start The Decade in a New Ford promotions, customers will be able to enjoy better deals and cash savings available in more Ford vehicles for a longer promo period.

    With these deals, we hope to see more Filipino customers drive and enjoy their new Ford vehicles this 2020,” Ryan Lorenzo, marketing director, Ford PH said
    As much as P100K cash discount is given for the Ranger 2.0L Bi-Turbo Wildtrak 4×4. The Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4×2 variants have a cash discount of P70K. Both also come with a zero percent interest for up to 18 months. The Ranger 2.2L XLS continues to be available at a starting retail price of P943K.

    Cash discounts for the EcoSport 1.5L Trend MT and AT are up to P130K bringing down the retail price to P840K and P900K respectively. The EcoSport 1.0L Titanium and 1.5L Titanium variants have a P65K cash discount.

    The Ford Explorer 3.5L Sport AT and Expedition 4×4 Limited EL both come with a P200K cash discount. Other cash discounts are given to its newly launched Ford Everest and all-new Ford Transit. The Transit can be purchased with a P100K cash discount until February 28, 2020, while a cash discount of P50K is now available for the Everest 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4 AT and Everest 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4×2 AT.

    Toyota Safety Sense now available in 2020 Alphard

    TOYOTA Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially made available in the country the updated Toyota Alphard with select Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) features. TSS is a suite of modern, active safety features designed to assist the drivers and provide greater peace of mind.

    Pre-collision system (PCS) alerts drivers on the possibility of collision, and, depending on the need, assists in prevention of accidents as well. Sensors and cameras detect the possibility of a collision and reacts with consideration of the driver’s actions. When a possibility of collision is detected, the driver is alerted through beeps and visual warnings including automatic activation of the brakes to prevent collision.

    The Automatic High Beam (AHB) feature makes it easier to drive at night by intuitively adjusting the headlight’s beam setting. When high beam setting is in use, the system automatically switches to low beam upon detection of vehicles at a certain distance in front or incoming vehicles on the opposite lane, and revert back to high beam setting once the path is clear.

    Cruising is also easier with the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) plus Steering Assist. When activated, the vehicle drives at constant preset speed and will adjust within the set cruise speed when there’s a vehicle in front to maintain appropriate distance. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which is included in the Hiace Super Grandia Elite.

Staying true to this image, we have introduced additional features which will further enhance the ride experience and safety of its passengers,” TMP First Vice President Ms. Cristina Arevalo said as she clarified TSS features function under certain driving and road conditions and should only serve as support to the driver.

    Pricing of the 2020 Alphard is at P3.910M for Steel Blonde Metallic and Raven Black, and P3.925M for the Luxury White Pearl.

    PMTF acquires Mitsubishi fleet cars

    PHILIP Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation (PMFTC) recently acquired 96 brand new units of fleet vehicles from Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC). The recent purchase comprised of 48 units of L300, 46 units of Montero Sport and 2 units of Pajero.

    The acquisition of these units is part of PMFTC fleet expansion.

    These units were delivered by MMPC’s dealers Citimotors Inc., Makati and Diamond Motor Corp. – Quezon Avenue. According to PMFTC the units will be utilize for various business operations all over the country.
