iVS launches first programmatic in-stream video marketplace in the Philippines

    Intelligent Video Solutions (‘iVS’), a leading video advertising platform for both publishers and advertisers in Southeast Asia, announced the launch of its in-stream video advertising marketplace in Southeast Asia. The marketplace, which is the first in Southeast Asia, provides advertisers with a single point of access to in-stream video inventory across premium publishers in the region, reducing inefficiencies and costs. The platform also provides publishers with hosting, transcoding, and streaming capabilities.

    Clients partnering with IVS on a long-term basis for advertising activation include regional media agencies such as GroupM, M&C Saatchi, Dentsu Aegis Network, Havas & IPG and publishers include a raft of top tier publishers, including ABS-CBN, Summit Media, Inquirer, Manila Times, GMA, Cignal, Bohol Chronicle, The Asian Parent and more.

    As part of its expansion in the region, iVS has onboarded two new senior hires Hari Shankar, who joined as Chief Revenue Officer from Singapore Media Exchange (SMX) in 2020. Hari is an industry veteran bringing his digital media experience as former Managing Director at Ecselis, the digital performance unit of Havas Media Group. He was also previously the Head of Digital Acquisition of APAC at PayPal.

    Hari will be responsible for acquiring new publishers and advertisers onto the platform. Today, iVS has over 150 premium publishers on its platform from key markets including Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

    Joc Cing Tay also joins as CTO. He was previously the VP of Engineering at Appier in Taiwan, leading a team of over 100 engineers.
