Caltex, PayMaya announce winners of P700k worth of prizes in #ScanToPay promo
Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), and digital financial services leader PayMaya gave away P700,000 worth of prizes to raffle winners paid using PayMaya QR for their transactions at Caltex stations nationwide.
A total of 151 customers were deemed winners through an electronic raffle draw and were officially announced at PayMaya’s Facebook page. Josephine Sy Gortega of Quezon City took home the grand prize amounting to P100,000, while 150 winners received prizes worth P1,000 or P10,000 which
The #ScanToPay promo, which ran from December 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021, is Caltex and PayMaya’s initiative to reward loyal customers who utilized safe and rewarding contactless payment with PayMaya QR. To earn one raffle entry, customers needed to #ScanToPay at least P100 via PayMaya QR at selected Caltex stations nationwide.

Honda announces airbag recall for select 1997-1999 model year Accord, CR-V and Legend models
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) will voluntarily recall 8,365 units of 1997-1999 Accord, CR-V and Legend models as part of Honda’s precautionary recall campaign concerning Takata airbag inflators. The campaign is part of Honda’s proactive effort to ensure safety of the owners and to avoid any unfortunate circumstance in the future.

The affected models’ Takata front driver side airbag inflators. may have a tendency to rupture upon deployment due to excessive internal pressure, which may result to serious injury to the vehicle’s driver.
Affected customers may avail of the airbag inflator replacement in any of the 38 Honda Cars dealerships nationwide. Replacement parts and labor for this voluntary airbag inflator recall is free of charge and servicing process may take up to a maximum of one hour.
A recall notification letter will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles. Customers may also verify if their vehicle is affected by encoding its 17-digit Chassis Number or Vehicle Identification Number in the Chassis/VIN search tool of the recall information webpage at www.hondaphil.com/recall.
HCPI apologizes for any inconvenience caused to owners of these vehicles and assures that this voluntary safety recall is conducted to ensure their safety. HCPI would also like to urge owners of the affected Honda models to have their vehicles checked right away.
