Vacancies for domestic workers rise

    VACANCIES for domestic workers and technical support staff personnel are on the rise, according to the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE).

    Based on the latest data from the BLE, domestic workers (708) and technical support staff (510) are two occupations with the most vacancies as of January 28.

    Also having high number of vacancies are customer service assistants (427), call center agents (406), production workers (401), laborers (339), clerks (302), utility workers (262), customer relations officers (215), and technical and commercial sales representatives (202).

    The BLE also noted there are several available jobs for sales representatives (200), office clerks (181), janitors (143), barangay health aides (140), and administration service aides (135).

    Completing the top vacancies list are drivers (123), merchandisers (71), waitresses (65), cashiers (60), and service crew (59).
