Suspected pusher, 8 users nabbed; P350K shabu seized

    POLICE operatives nabbed an alleged drug pusher, eight alleged users and seized more than P350,000 worth of shabu and ecstasy in a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Monday night.

    Arrested were Jayson Ongmanchi, 35, the target of the operation; his live-in partner Beatrice Donioza, 30; Niro Rabina, 20; Allan Conception, 41; Raymond Manlapat, 29; Venzen Valeros, 30; Rosa Donioza, 66; Jennelyn Flores, 35; and Maria Ronela Evangelista, 32.

    Police rescued the 12-year-old daughter of Ongmanchi, who was at the scene when the operation was conducted.

    Col. Rogelio Simon, Makati Chief of Police, said a police poseur managed to buy two sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,000 from the suspects.

    Seized were 81 sachets of suspected shabu worth P350,000, two pieces of ectasy worth P3,000, a weighing scale, tooter, two caliber .45 pistols, 18 pieces of caliber .45 ammunition, 15 pieces of caliber .22 ammunition and a Toyota Avanza with plate number NAV-5327.

    Four men were also arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Pasig and Mandaluyong yesterday.

    Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan, Eastern police district director, identified the four as Elmer Santos, 41; Jimar Verador, 24; Jojie Reariu, 32; and Edwin Genetanio, 56.
