Sinas reassigns 7 senior officers


    PNP chief Debold Sinas has reassigned seven senior police officers, including Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay who has been designated as the new director of the Eastern Police District.

    Baccay, the outgoing director of the PNP Legal Service, assumed his new post in rites held at the EPD headquarters in Pasig City, replacing now retired Brig. Gen. Johnson Almaza.
    Taking over Baccay’s post as PNP Legal Service chief is Col. George Almaden in an acting capacity. Almaden is currently the deputy chief of the office.

    Also reassigned was National Capital Region Police Office deputy chief for administration Brig. Gen. Nolasco Bathan and PNP Health Service chief Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Olay, who swapped positions.

    PNP Finance Service chief Brig. Rex Dela Rosa and PNP Directorate for Research and Development executive director Col. Jose Nartatez Jr. also switched posts.

    Maj. Gen. Israel Ephraim Dickson was reassigned to be the director of the PNP Directorate for Personnel and Records Management. Dickson is the outgoing chief of the PNP Civil Security Group. He took over as CSG chief about two months.

    Dickson replaced Brig. Gen. Rolando Hinanay, who will be assigned to the Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.
