P4M shabu seized; 3 pushers nabbed in QC


    POLICE nabbed three suspected pushers and seized P4 million of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City yesterday.

    Lt. Col. Benjamine Gabriel Jr., commander of station 3 of the Quezon City Police District, identified the three as Ricondaya Lomonday Magarang, 51; Nabel Hadiomar Makabato, 27; and Jamael Magrara Hzainal, 20.

    Suspected shabu weighing around 600 grams, a Toyota Fortuner, Honda Civic, P20,000 boodle money and two cellular phones were seized from them in a drug bust on Mayon St., Barangay Teresita, QC.

    Police seized more than P500,000 worth of suspected shabu, along with illegal firearm and ammunition while serving a search warrant in Pasay City on Saturday.

    Authorities served the arrest warrant in Barangay 187 Zone 20 at about 5:55p.m. and arrested Rico Vengco, 50, who is listed in the drug watch list. Seized from him were 12 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P531,760.

    Also seized were a cal. 38 revolver, seven bullets of a cal. 38, two digital weight scale and a gray coin purse.

    Eight sachets of suspected marijuana were seized from a Grab driver in an anti-criminality operation in Las Piñas City on Saturday.

    Police said Joemari Castillo, 23, was nabbed in an operation on Sto. Nino St., Barangay Manuyo Dos at about 4 p.m.

    Four persons were nabbed in anti-drug operations in Mandaluyong and Marikina yesterday.

    Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan, Eastern Police District director, identified the four as Jennifer Ignacio, 40; Anthony Roxas, 29; Chyrell Navalta, 35; and Miguel Mendoza, 29. – Noel Talacay, Rod Lagusad and Christian Oineza
