POLICE arrested two more members of a syndicate behind the trafficking of suspected shabu from Manila-Cavite area to Mindanao during a buy-bust operation in Dasmarinas City, Cavite on Sunday.
The two – Ranier Ricarto Reboriano and Joshua Ricarto Legazpi – yielded three kilos of suspected shabu worth P20.4 million, police said.
Police said the two are members of a drug network involved in the trafficking of shabu from Manila and Cavite area to Mindanao.
Two members of the network – Marlon Salik Bayan and Guimalodin Lampa Ebrahim – were nabbed by PDEG operatives in a buy-bust operation near a mall in Parañaque City on Saturday. The two yielded eight kilos of suspected shabu worth P54.4 million.
PNP chief Debold Sinas said Reboriano and Legazpi were nabbed by operatives of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group after handing a kilo of suspected shabu, worth P6.8 million, to a poseur buyer at Tierra Vista Subdivision in Barangay Langkaan 1, Dasmariñas City at around 4:40 p.m.
Policemen found two more kilos of shabu worth P13.6 million during a search of their house.
Also seized from the suspects were the buy-bust money, a US Carbine cal. 30 firearm with two magazines and eight cal. 45 bullets.
