P102M shabu seized in Bacoor


    OPERATIVES of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized 15 kilos of shabu, worth P102 million, in an anti-narcotics operation in Bacoor City in Cavite yesterday afternoon.

    Three suspected drug peddlers, whose names were not immediately available, were arrested.

    PDEA said the seized drugs were packed in tea bags with the label “Guanyinwang.”

    PDEA said the operation was conducted at around 1 p.m. along Molino Boulevard corner Aguinaldo Highway, Talaba 4, by various PDEA units.

    PDEA chief Aaron Aquino will discuss details of the operation during a press conference today.

    Meanwhile, three drug dens were dismantled by PDEA in separate raids in Sampaloc, Manila on Wednesday afternoon.

    The operations, conducted by virtue of search warrants, also resulted in the arrest of 16 drug peddlers and users and the seizure of 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000.
