THE Makati police yesterday stood firm on its original finding that flight attendant Christine Dacera, who was found dead in a Makati City hotel last January 1, died due to ruptured aortic aneurysm or massive internal bleeding.

During the second preliminary investigation into Dacera’s death yesterday, the Makati police submitted additional evidence to the Makati Prosecutor’s Office – results of the DNA tests, histopathology report, and chemistry report. But they failed to submit the toxicology and medical exam results of Dacera from the Makati Medical Center.

The DNA result showed there was no other DNA found from the underwear of Dacera except hers and she was negative of any kind of illegal drugs.

The third preliminary investigation will be held on February 3, 2021. – Noel Talacay
