THE Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will shorten its operating hours on December 24 and 31, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, respectively.
The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said the move is in anticipation of the decline of passengers on both dates.
The agency added this is also to allow station and security personnel to celebrate Christmas and New Year with their families.
The last trip from Cubao and Recto stations on December 24 will leave at 8 p.m.
For December 31, the last trip on the eastbound and westbound lanes will be at 7:30 p.m.
