DITO Telecommunity Corp. yesterday denied reports that the rollout of the company “will be delayed due to issues regarding permits.”
DITO said it has “entered into an agreement with the League of Municipalities whose member-local executives assured ease of doing business together with DITO’s commitment to provide fiber connectivity and free WiFi to critical public places in their respective towns.”
The company recently met with DICT Sec. Gregorio Honasan to update him on the firm’s timeline and rollout. Honasan also pledged to assist DITO to secure permits faster to hasten the rollout.
