Chinese illegal sex trade operator nabbed in Parañaque


    POLICE officers swooped down on an illegal sex trade operating inside a two-star hotel in Parañaque city and nabbed a male Chinese and rescued 11 female Chinese citizens early Sunday morning.

    The police worked on a tip from a confidential informant who said an illegal sex trade was being operated by suspect Ye Gui Cai at the fifth to the eighth floors of the Go Hotel on Quirino Ave. in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

    Following the tip, operatives of the Parañaque City Police raided the hotel at about 1:45 a.m. and collared the suspect.

    Eleven female Chinese females were also rescued and turned over to the Women and Children Protection Desk of the Parañaque City police station. They were set to undergo debriefing and counseling with the city’s Department of Social Welfare and Development office.

    Ye Gui Cai is detained at the Parañaque custodial facility. He will be charged with violating the Anti Trafficking in Persons Act. – Rod Lagusad
