3 suspected pushers nabbed in Bacolod; P13.6M shabu seized


    OPERATIVES of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group arrested three suspected drug dealers and seized two kilos of suspected shabu worth P13.6 million in Bacolod City on Monday.

    Reports reaching Camp Crame identified the suspects as Regine Arroz, 28; Jun Mark Ibe, 28; and Shiela Mhary Balarao, 34. They are detained at the Bacolod City police station while charges are being prepared against them.

    The three were nabbed by PDEG operatives, in coordination with the Bacolod City police, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport.

    Apart from the two kilos of shabu, also seized from the suspects were unspecified amount of cash in different denominations believed to be proceeds from their illegal drug transactions.

    A man was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Taytay, Rizal yesterday, with cops seizing P224,800 worth of suspected drugs.

    S/Sgt. Jerome Verzo, case officer, identified the suspect as Amad Daud. He was nabbed at the Taytay Diversion Road. – With Christian Oineza
