    CITI’s new PayAll enables its cardholders to pay their school fees, rent, general insurance payments, membership fees and professional fees, among others, using their credit cards.

    The beneficiary need not be a Citibank customer, as PayAll allows transfers to other local banks.

    Citi credit card customers can start using the feature by logging into the Citi Mobile app, tapping on credit card, then Payments. Customers have to enter the recipient’s payment details, select their preferred credit card to earn applicable rewards, review and confirm payment.

    Customers can schedule a one-time or recurring payment. The payment goes into the recipient’s bank account with a small transaction fee.

    Key benefits include paying and tracking their expenses easily, managing their cashflow better and earning rewards. Plus, until April 30, get up to P1,800 in eGifts on customer’s six unique PayAll transactions per month.

    Manoj Varma, Citi Philippines consumer banking head, said this new service complements the ever-evolving lifestyle of its credit cardholders.

    Varma added the bank continuously develops new products and services based on its customers’ needs and wants.

    What the customers want is convenience and speed in their banking transactions, he also said. The new service is an innovation that is in line with the bank’s goal of providing remarkable client experiences day after day.

    “Imagine not having to fall in line to make payments or encash checks,” said Mukul Sukhani, Citi Philippines cards and loans director. Customers can use their credit cards to make big payments to local bank accounts by simply using their mobile phones, he said.

    “With the opportunity to earn rewards points, they also get more value on their regular spending,” Sukhani added, noting the new service is a game changer that can improve customers’ quality of life while also providing them with great rewards.
