Refreshing stay by the seaside


    COVID fears and quarantine restrictions have driven Filipinos to seek refuge outside of the city. Closeness to nature, a healthier environ, and the avoidance of curtailed freedom are the main reasons.

    FREIA is the newest gem within Pico de Loro Cove at Hamilo Coast, the prime leisure resort community located in Nasugbu, Batangas. Architect Arni Villanueva of GF + Partners Architect, Broadway Malyan’s local counterpart, says that the materials are sourced locally to lessen the carbon footprint.

    The substantial sizes of the two-bedroom condos vary from 67 sqm to 154 sqm, while the cuts of three-bedroom loft penthouses, which range from 221 to 392 sqm meters, are as large as a house. Built with only 223 units, FREIA has fewer units per floor so that owners can enjoy the comfort of space and privacy.

    Villanueva says FREIA steps up the level of convenience and comfort. “Units are outfitted with high quality fixtures to assure the security and well-being of its residents,’’ says Villanueva.

    Other condo developments come with a bare concrete ceiling which makes it challenging to renovate or install fixtures. FREIA’s units are built with a drop ceiling for easy placement of lighting fixture and flexibility in lighting design,” he adds.
