Oreo shares smiles with Frontliners

As a purveyor of positivity through meaningful play, Oreo cookies recognize how essential it is to come together and express our feelings to one another. Making time for lighthearted moments reminds us that despite uncertainty, the remarkable resiliency of the human spirit is not lost, that joy and love can survive and thrive amidst fear and anxiety, that humanity’s darkest days can become a catalyst for its finest hour.

It is in this spirit that Oreo donated their delicious products to help put smiles on the faces of Philippine health frontliners, a group that direly needs a show of support as they bravely wage their continuous battle against an invisible foe. “Oreo cookies aim to spark these playful connections among those who need it most, our front liners. For more playful moments, Oreo shares the new cookies embossed with alphabet letters and emojis” shares Friska Andini, Assistant Brand Manager of Mondelez Philippines, maker of Oreo cookies.

Partnering with Philippine Business for Social Progress, the Oreo brand shared the new embossed cookies with the Las Pinas General Hospital on July 2020. The 775 employees of the hospital received the Oreo embossed cookies as a salute to their generosity and courage.

“We at Oreo hope that this gesture feeds our front liners with delicious and playful yet meaningful doses of Oreo positivity at a time when they need it the most. The whole country thanks them for their dedication, and we hope the delicious Oreo cookies expressed this gratitude.”
