LPG delivery made easy


    AMPLE, a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) distributor in Marikina and Rizal, has launched a mobile application that allows customers to buy LPG products as well as earn points every order, track orders, check order history, rate riders or add a favorite, buy load, pay bills, and refer a friend.

    Rodelio Santiago, Ample president and chief executive officer, believes the company is making history thru the app, which he expects to become the benchmark for all LPG ordering apps in the future.

    He said many companies are taking advantage of the digital business, thus the shift to virtual ordering of products. “One can purchase almost everything online and we thought of why not order his gas using the app,” Santiago said.

    “We have our own delivery platform, as well as facility and infrastructure,” he added. The company is currently servicing Marikina and Rizal with 30 riders and eyes to add more as it expands.

    Santiago said the company has about 30,000 customers. He expects more customer bookings with the launch of the app.

    The development of the app took almost a year, he said. The app can recognize the identity of the rider so customers can feel secure and it promotes transparency in the online transactions.

    Santiago underscored the value of innovation to compete better in the market. “We created this app as LPG needs to have a dedicated app which will provide convenience to old and new customers,” he said.

    The app is available at the Google Play Store and App Store.

    “Even though we launched the app and the company invested a huge amount of money, it gives us all the convenience on our part internally,” he said, noting the customers get to process their own orders.

    “All applications will perform if well-marketed and we hope that more customers will eventually use the app to purchase their LPG,” he added.

    The company is in talks to expand its business coverage to Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Pasig. “We are developing the foundation of the system first and foremost, and we are doing this for us to succeed,” Santiago said.

    “We are a legitimate player of LPG,” he added, noting the company is a clear choice as one of the leading LPG retailers in the areas it covers.

    Santiago said having a mobile app also helps a company keep an eye on its business flow.
