Founded by the Boone brothers in 1932 at a small town called Lembeke in Belgium, Lotus Biscoff is a sweet biscuit known for its unique caramel taste and crunchy texture. Its distinct flavor, derived during the caramelization stage of its baking process, makes it the biscuit perfect for every cup of coffee. Hence the term “Biscoff” which combines the words “biscuit” and “coffee.”

Lotus introduced this coffee pairing ritual since the 1950s which made an enormous influence in the hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops throughout Belgium and Europe and eventually earned the title “Europe’s favorite cookie.”

Aside from its famous biscuit, Lotus also has another irresistible treat – the Lotus Biscoff Spread. This famous European spread has the delicious taste of Lotus Biscoff biscuits and comes in smooth and crunchy flavors; smooth has a flat and creamy texture while crunchy has loads of tiny Lotus biscuit bits making it an instant dessert treat for many.

Shoppers can still enjoy the sweet treats and the café inspired ambiance of the Lotus Coffee Corner by SM Snack Exchange until October 31, 2019. For the whole month of
October, customers can also buy two Lotus Biscoff packs (250 grams each) and get the second pack at 50% off. Offer is valid at selected SM Snack Exchange branches in Metro Manila.
