Amidst the many changes brought about by the pandemic, Discovery Hospitality Corporation (DHC) has remained innovative, bringing its world-renowned brand of service to properties and establishments across the country.

The management company behind award-winning hotels and resorts Discovery Shores Boracay, Club Paradise Palawan, Discovery Suites Ortigas, and Discovery Primea Makati is slated to unveil the newest additions to its ever-growing portfolio in the coming months, just as beloved tourist destinations around the Philippines slowly begin to accept travelers again. Discovery Resorts have already resumed tourist bookings, while the city hotels have been accommodating long-stay guests and inbound travelers since the start of the lockdown.

“Discovery Hospitality has always believed in the return of travel,” says DHC COO and Discovery World President Jose C. Parreno. “Despite the past challenging months, we have not been fazed and have continued to prepare for the opening of our newest managed properties.”

“We’re very excited to welcome them into the Discovery family, and remain open to partnering with establishments looking to enrich their offerings,” he adds.

Beyond its management expertise, Discovery Hospitality has also extended its services to companies adjusting to new normal operations. Earlier this year, DHC partnered with Lysol Philippines to launch Home Safe, a program that brings hotel-grade sanitation and best health & safety practices to businesses that need to meet DOH, IATF, and DOT regulations.

Meanwhile, Safe Space is DHC’s trailblazing initiative re-imagining meeting, event and celebration spaces and making them safe in the time of the global pandemic. The company’s Safe Care program, in tandem with Cardinal Santos Medical Center, continues to host medical meet-ups within the safety of Discovery hotels. DHC hopes to tie up with other medical and hospitality facilities in the future, in order to broaden the program’s reach and offer easy access to essential health services.

DHC boldly leads the country in workplace wellness through the launch of Laboral, labor wellness in the World of Discovery. In partnership with GPA Brazil, a leading labor gymnastics company with 17 years of thought leadership in workplace ergonomics, DHC launches ergonomic human exercise intervention focusing on work-from-home (WFH) challenges.

As the year draws to a close, Discovery Hospitality looks back on a fruitful year, and eagerly anticipates the many exciting opportunities ahead.
