The Philippines is considered the social media capital of the world. With more Filipinos connecting to the internet, mostly doing it through their smartphones, mobile data has now become a real necessity. Telco companies currently offer a wide range of mobile data plans but virtual telco brand GOMO aims to one-up the established players with their product offerings.
GOMO is offering a data package of P299 for 30 GB, also convertible to call and text credits. This package has no expiry, allowing users to tailor it to their needs. A 200MB data load can be converted into 30 texts to all networks, 400 MB for 6 minutes of calls while 500 MB data can be converted into 50 texts and 5 minutes calls to all networks,
The brand is also running a flash promo until March 10 allowing customers to avail of 15 days of unlimited data for P299 or 30 days of unlimited data for 499. This data promo will have a speed cap of 5 mbps. GOMO will periodically have these flash sales posted on their social media pages.
GOMO will also launch an exclusive offer in key cities of Visayas and Mindanao on March 15. Customers in the region will be able to subscribe for unlimited data, good for 30 days for P199.
Eric Leif Tanbauco, who heads GOMO, explained that the digital brand was created specifically for today’s digital natives who utilize digital solutions in their work and play.
“Reinventing our business model allowed GOMO to provide innovative industry firsts: an all-digital approach to telco, no expiry data, and even the ability to convert data to calls and texts,” he said.
GOMO is a service brand of Globe Telecom and runs on the Globe network.
