Sunshine Cruz explained why her three daughters with Cesar Montano – Angeline, Samantha and Franchesca – all used the surname Cruz.
At their recent contract signing and launching as the endorsers of Em-core Dot Net, Sunshine said it was the idea of her manager, Arnold Vegafria, for her daughters to use Cruz.
“Pinaalam kasi niya [kay Cesar] kasi they are more into singing, and we all know the Cruzes are known musicians talaga. So I think it’s the fault of Arnold,” said Sunshine, who is a part of the famous Cruz clan of showbiz that includes her cousins, Sheryl Cruz and Donna Cruz-Larrazabal.
Arnold explained he and Cesar bumped into each other in Las Vegas and that’s when he asked his permission.
“Sabi niya, ‘It’s OK anak ko pa rin ‘yan, dugo ko pa rin ‘yan,’” Arnold recalled Cesar saying.
Angeline, Sam and Cheska all seem to be bent on following in the footsteps of their parents. Angeline has released an EP under Universal Records and Samantha is all set to sign up with a recording company. The youngest, Cheska, also sings. While waiting for their showbiz breaks, they all welcome the chance to endorse Em-core Dot Net’s flagship products, 24 Alkaline-C and 24 Alka-White. They are the latest addition to the list of the company’s celebrity endorsers that includes Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee and GMA’s David Licauco.
“I’m a firm believer in a holistic lifestyle that puts a high premium on diet and exercise, but it’s good to know that there are dietary supplements that can always give us that much needed boost any time of the day,” said Sunshine.
She also said she’s heard good things about Em-Core’s products.
“I’ve heard a lot of miraculous testimonials from people who’ve used the products, so I’m very confident that we’re on the same page in terms of promoting better health and nutrition.”
Sheryll Edman, Em-Core’s president and COO, explained that Sunshine and her daughters are their top choice because they are a symbol of ageless
