A standout when she started her career in showbiz some twenty years ago, Regine Tolentino continues to show how time has just made better in all aspects – as an artist, a businesswoman, a mom and a partner.
The 41-year-old delivered her third daughter in March, during lockdown, and it has been quite a challenge for the mom – who last gave birth twenty years ago. It was her first C-section, and also it was in the middle of the pandemic, so Regine and her partner, Dondi Narciso, were really concerned about their health and the dangers of being in a hospital during the COVID-19 crisis.
Thankfully, the delivery went smoothly and baby Rosie arrived beautiful and healthy.
Regine was cautioned from doing her strenuous routine because of her caesarian operation.
And the pandemic posed additional challenges. Her Zumba and dance classes were suspended, as with all group activities. Her gown and costume design business were also affected, because events and gatherings were largely banned. But through it all, Regine and her family found the joy in taking care of Rosie, whom they all consider as the blessing during these trying times.
“We just had to deal with it,” she said, “We adjusted and prayed a lot and overcame the struggles. A lot of tears along the way but it was something that made our relationship stronger as a family.”
Regine also has not forgotten to take care of her health and her family’s wellbeing. She also has gotten back to doing some exercises and she said she forced herself to wear workout clothes, even if some have become quite small for her because of her post-pregnancy weight gain. She takes vitamins and has found a partner in her quest to wellness in Radiance C. According to her, Radiance C is the first and only US-made Non-Acidic Vitamin C supplement that features a unique combination of seven active ingredients all working in synergy to maximize vitamin C’s health and beauty benefits. It has Calcium Ascorbate, Selenium, Vitamin D3, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, Collagen, Quercetin and Calcium.
These active ingredients by themselves are not only able to provide a wide variety of wellness and skin benefits, but are also capable of working together with vitamin C to further enhance its overall effectiveness. It accomplishes this mainly by jumpstarting the process of regenerating spent and oxidized vitamin C in the body, which have become free radicals, and helping revert these into their original, beneficial forms.
