THE MMG Queen of Hearts Foundation led by its founder and president Mitzie Go-Gil, conducted a successful charity mission for children affected by the Taal Volcano eruption last Sunday at the Sisters of St. John The Baptist Retreat House in Iruhin East, Tagaytay City.
The children of families affected by last month’s Taal Volcano eruption were treated to a fun-filled afternoon with singing and parlor games and finally, the children receiving gifts from the beauty queens in their continuing charity mission throughout the country.
With Go-Gil were the Queen of Hearts Philippines titlists – Mrs. Asia Pacific 2019 grand winner Avon Morales, Mrs. Worldwide 2019 2nd runner-up Llena Tan, Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific Intercontinental Mary Chris Abacahin Camacho, Queen of Hearts Foundation board member Xiamzzy Dy and newly-crowned Mrs. Global Universe Philippines 2020 Rosenda Casaje, who also celebrated her birthday that day. Some of the candidates of Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020 also participated in the charity undertaking.
Sister Ma. Lourdes Avila, who is in charge of the congregation’s retreat house, welcomed the queens.
Congratulations to Manhunt Netherlands Paul Luzineau for bagging the Manhunt International title at the 20th edition of the longest-running modeling pageant for men held at New Frontier Theater, Quezon City last Saturday.
One of the earliest candidates to arrive in Manila, Luzineau became an early favorite in the week-long event that saw delegates from 36 countries worldwide, including Manhunt Philippines Daumier Corilla who made it as one of the 16 finalists aside from bagging the Best National Costume award in an ensemble created by Edwin Uy.
A 23-year-old model and student, Luzineau is ‘’The Most Handsome Man of The Netherlands 2019.” He is from Dalem, Gorinchem, stands 1.89 meters tall and has three older sisters. He loves playing soccer and running and is a gym buff.
Luzineau succeeded Manhunt International 2018 Vicent Llorach of Spain and bested the other favorites from Greece, Brazil, Spain and India who became his runners-up.
Our very own June Macasaet, who won as Manhunt International 2012 in Bangkok, was one of the judges.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray topbills the panel of celebrity judges for Mutia Ti La Union 2020, dubbed as the grandest pageant in all of northern Luzon.
Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj is co-hosting the pageant where 20 contestants representing the 19 municipalities and capital City of San Fernando are vying for the coveted crown.
The pageant is one of the highlight events of La Union’s 170th founding anniversary. Gov. Pacoy Ortega, in cooordination with the provincial tourism office, is leading the celebrations in an effort to drumbeat the vision to make La Union the heart of agri tourism in northern Luzon by 2025.
