Marian Rivera said she would have loved to throw a party for son Ziggy, who just turned two on April 16.
Ziggy is her second child with husband, actor Dingdong Dantes. Their eldest, daughter Zia, is five years old.
“Nagtatanong nga si Zia why we are not celebrating with a party for Ziggy’s birthday,” related Marian.
“Last year, understandable, dahil one lang siya. Although, the real reason is because of the pandemic. So, sabi namin ni Dingdong, next year na lang.
“Who would have thought na COVID 19 will continue to be in our midst,” she lamented.
Marian backed out from playing the lead in GMA’s well-admired series, “First Yaya.” It was Sanya Lopez who stepped in to play the role of Yaya Melody opposite Gabby Conception.
It would have been Marian’s first time to work with Gabby, but she gave up the role because of the lock-in taping which would mean being away from her young kids.
“She is following the series daw and she thinks okay si Sanya,” said a kibitzer.
