KATHIE Lee Berco, 20, from Alaminos, Pangasinan, will be the Philippine representative to the Miss Tourism International 2020-2021 pageant which will be conducted online because of the pandemic.
Berco, a 5’6” Political Science student of San Sebastian College, Manila, was handpicked by Ovette Ricalde of Megastar Productions, the appointed national director for the online tilt, after long-time franchise holder Mutya Pilipinas Inc. decided to skip this year’s contest because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The reigning Miss Tourism International is Cyrille Payumo, the fifth Filipina to win the coveted crown.
The second edition of the Philippine-based Mr. World Noble King pageant will be held from December 14 to 21, 2020 in Okinawa, Japan.
