Luis-Jessy grand wedding happening in December

The February wedding was a civil event, but the couple has another set for December.

Luis Manzano shed tears at his wedding to Jessy Mendiola last February 21 in Batangas.

Present were all of Luis’ family, his dad, Edu Manzano, and mom, Star for all Seasons and Lipa Congresswoman Vilma Santos-Recto, who was with her husband, Senator Ralph Recto, and her other son, Ryan Christian.

Some of Jessy’s family were unable to attend because they were abroad.

“All because of the pandemic,” Jessy revealed. “Isa pa, ang alam nila, June this year and kasalan.

“Don’t ask me to explain why we needed to hold it earlier.”

A grand wedding will happen in December, Jessy added.

“What if she is pregnant by then?” someone asked.

“Di mas mabuti. Double purpose ang event – kasalan at binyagan!” an onlooker butted in.

“In any case, if it happens, pinaka-happy pag nagkataon si Ate Vi. Ang tagal na niyang gusting magka-apo kay Luis, as she is 67 years old na.”

Luis is turning 40 on April 21.

Another actress is eager to have an apo: Sharon Cuneta.

“Pinu-push na niyang mag-asawa si KC, who is in her 30s na rin. Willing daw siyang kahit via surrogacy magka-apo,” said our source.

Sharon, 55, was 19 when she gave birth to KC (Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion).

KC’s dad, of course, is Sharon’s ex-husband, actor Gabby Concepcion.

Sharon has three kids with current husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, Frankie, Miel, and Miguel.

Newly engaged Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay might just spring another surprise soon.

Some are saying that the two will take the plunge quicker than people think.

“Baka anytime soon mangyari ang kasalan,” said a kibitzer. “The two appear so in love with each other.

“And what is good is that Derek is very fond of Elias and treats him as a son. Mahal na mahal niya ang bata.”

Meanwhile, Elias’ dad, actor John Lloyd Cruz, is said to be focused on staging a showbiz comeback.

It’s unlikely, though, that he will have his favorite leading lady, Bea Alonzo, for his co-star, as Bea will soon start work on her first project with Alden Richards. The Bea-Alden project is reportedly an adaptation of a Korean series and will be produced by Viva Entertainment and GMA.

For those who doesn’t know, Bea has left Star Magic and her career is now being managed by Shirley Kuan.

Guess who may become a mother in-law soon?

“Ako,” Ai Ai de las Alas excitedly admitted.

The actress said that her only daughter, Sophia (father is former actor Miguel Vera), is now engaged.

Meanwhile, Ai Ai and her husband, Gerald Sibayan, are marking their sixth wedding anniversary.

Ai Ai, who is now in her 50s, and Gerald, who is nearly thirty years younger than her, are proving that age truly doesn’t matter when it comes to love.

Gerald is a graduate of De la Salle University. He used to be an athlete and is working on his license as a pilot.

Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada wishes to thank all those who are praying for his dad, former President Joseph Estrada.

“Binubuno pa niya ang pneumonia, that is why he is now confined in the ICU of the hospital, as per the advice of his physicians,” Sen. Jinggoy was overheard saying. “Delikado pa rin kaya we still need your prayers.”

President Erap will turn 84 on April 19.

“He was never sickly,” related Sen. Jinggoy. “Kaya na-alarma kami ng husto sa pagkakasakit niya.”

We wonder if it is true that also confined in the same hospital, but for another ailment, is President Erap’s wife, former Senator Loi Estrada.
