If first love never dies, Loisa Andalio philosophies, so does every first experience in life. This explains why every aspect of her first series remains fresh in her memory.
Loisa is a former “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) housemate. Daniel Matsunaga won in her batch.
Maris Racal placed second.
In spite of not winning, Loisa was offered to be part of the series, “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita?” in 2015. It starred Vina Morales and Denise Laurel, plus Jerome Ponce.
A romance drama written by top scriptwriter Ricky Lee and directed by Mel Chionglo, “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita?” also featured Jane Oineza and Joshua Garcia.
“They may have been pleased with my performance kasi nagkasunod-sunod na ang assignments ko, until naging ka-love team ko si Ronnie Alonte (her boyfriend),” Loisa related. “Nagkapareha kami sa ilang series. Drama, light comedy. Basically, Ronnie is a dancer. He is a member of the dance group, Hashtags.”
Currently, they are teamed up in the series, “Unloving U,” which premiered on iWant TFC last February 7. Easy Ferrer is its director.
“Intriguing ang theme sa series,” Loisa said. “Ronnie and I play step-siblings who fall for each other.”
Playing their parents are real-life couple Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen.
Gelli and Ariel are excited to work with Loisa and Ronnie in the six-part series, “Unloving U.”
“Ako nakakagawa recently ng ‘A Soldier’s Heart’ and ‘Sandugo.’ And I had fun, as they had action scenes,” he said.
We remember having watched Ariel’s first movie, “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal?” It was with Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga and was produced by Octo Arts Films.
Ariel and Gelli reside with sons Joaquin and Julio in Canada, where Ariel grew up.
“But I was born in Manila,” said the 54-year-old singer-actor.
She was once married to basketball player James Yap, with whom she has a son, Bimby.
Kris Aquino may be just kidding, but she recently announced that she may consider marrying again.
Kung sabagay, why not?
Kris, who is turning 50 in February 14, was already a mom to Joshua when she married James Yap, the father of Bimby, in 2005.
They are now, of course, annulled.
James is still in top form as a basketball player. He has two children with his current partner, Michela Cazzola.
James predicts that Bimby will grow up to be a six-footer like him.
As it is Bimby is already a looker.
Scheduled to do one film after another is Bea Alonzo.
GMA Films and APT are reportedly co-producing “A Moment To Remember,” which is an adaptation of a Korean movie.
It will reportedly pair her with Alden Richards. The two hit it off when they shot a shampoo commercial.
Next for Bea is reportedly a reunion movie with John Lloyd Cruz under Star Cinema.
Top writer Carmi Martin is said to be preparing the project.
The film has no title yet, but the award-winning Olive Lamasan is said to be set to direct it.
Speaking of John Lloyd, he reportedly wants nothing to do but work and take care of his two-year-old son, Elias, with ex-girlfriend Ellen Adarna.
John Lloyd and Ellen are co-parenting and father and son are reportedly very close.
The boy loves to go riding with John Lloyd.
Ellen, meanwhile, seems to be enjoying her return to the screen. She is in the sitcom, “John en Ellen,” with Ronaldo Valdez, Long Mejia, young stars Angelica Cruz and Yogo Singh and John Estrada.
She reportedly just laughs off the rumors linking her to Derek Ramsay.
The two are reportedly single. They happen to live in the same neighborhood in Ayala Alabang.
Derek called it quits with Andrea Torres last year.
