Andres Muhlach is now a proud endorser of a top local brand.

“He is endorsing the clothing brand, Bench, which produces excellent shirts, polos and menswear for any age,” said Elvie Gonzales, Andres’ grandmother who also acts as his talent manager.

A former beauty queen and actress, Elvie, of course, is the mother of Charlene Gonzales, the mom of Andres and his twin sister, Atasha.

Actor and top endorser Aga Muhlach is Andres’ dad and husband of Charlene.

“What makes me and Andres ultra proud of this Bench commercial of his is that first solo commercial niya ito,” continued Elvie, “His past commercials always featured him with his family.

“May billboard na siya, somewhere in Katipunan Avenue,” the proud grandma added.
Andres will turn 20 on November 5.

He and Atasha graduated from different international high schools.

Had not the pandemic happened, Andres would have left for either Spain or the US, where he was supposed to continue his studies.

Like Atasha, he wants to take up business administration.

“Sa United Kingdom sana gustong mag-aral ni Atasha,” Elvie revealed. “At payag siyang maging chaperone ako. Hanga ako both kina Charlene at lalo na kay Aga as they really prepared for their twin’s education.

“Desisyon nila to have them attend different international schools para ‘di sila magkaklase.”

The first Bench endorser is none other than Ormoc Mayor Richard Gomez.

Richard was a protégé of the late great starmaker Douglas Quijano.

Douglas was a good friend of Ben Chan, the owner of Bench. It was Douglas who suggested that Bench come out with a separate store for female products. Thus, the boutique Her Bench began.

Richard and wife, Ormoc Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez, are among the iconic endorsers of the brand. Their only child, Juliana, was also a Bench model.

Alex Gonzaga reveals she still lives with her parents, Carlito and Crisanta Gonzaga, in their family home in Taytay, Rizal.

The Gonzagas are well-known in Rizal. Daddy Boyong – as Alex’s dad is known – once served as vice mayor of Taytay.

Alex, in spite of being busy as a host, an endorser and a vlogger, still comes home to sleep in their Taytay abode no matter what.

Her Ate Toni, married to director Paul Soriano, lives in an exclusive subdivision in Alabang with her family.

The couple make it a point to visit Toni’s parents and bring their son Seve to see his grandparents.

Earlier this year, Alex and boyfriend, Lipa Councilor Mikee Morada, got engaged. However, their wedding plans have been affected by the pandemic. Add to the fact that Alex has become busier since her transfer to TV5. She will co-host the new noontime show of TV5, “Laugh Out Loud” (LOL), with Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, K Brosas and KC Montero, among others.

LOL is under Brightlight Productions, which is owned by Congressman Albee Benitez.

    KIM CHIU

Kim Chiu is now the new “Dance Queen” following the exit of Maja Salvador, who has signed up with TV5.

In last Sunday’s initial presentation of “ASAP” on AZ2 Channel 11, Kim Chiu did an excellent dance number.

She was introduced as the new “Queen of Dance.”

“Prinactice ko ‘yun ng todo,” Kim admitted with a laugh, “Ayoko siyempreng mapahiya, as that title was formerly held by Maja (Salvador).”

Maja is now a talent of TV5, where she will reportedly host a Sunday noontime show.

In the case of Kim, she will be busier than before as she has been added as a regular host of the Kapamilya noontime show, “It’s Showtime.” She will also be seen in the horror movie, “U-Turn,” with JM de Guzman and Tony Labrusca. “U-Turn” is directed by Roderick Cabrido.

Kim reveals she is happy for boyfriend Xian Lim, who can now breathe a sigh of relief following the recovery of his lola, who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Xian is so close to his lola, at talagang dinibdib niya ang pagkakasakit nito. Nataon pa na busy rin siya,” Kim said. “We were both finishing our series, ‘Love Thy Woman’ at may dini-direk siyang puppetry movie sa Viva Films.”

Xian, said Kim, is not only a good apo, he is also a very ideal boyfriend.

“Mabait siya. Understanding. And most of all, maaasahan,” Kim said.

In that said conversation with Kim, she also revealed she might co-star with Xian in a new series next year – which is only three months away.
