The wait is over for Ruru Madrid, as the actor works with award-winning actress Jasmine Curtis in APT Entertainment and Cignal Entertainment’s romantic drama, “Cara X Jagger.”
“It’s a dream come true,” says an ecstatic Ruru. “I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I have always wanted to work with Jasmine because I truly believe that she is one of the best actresses of her generation. I am grateful for the trust that APT gave me and Jasmine. This is one project I will never forget. I am very proud of ‘Cara X Jagger.’”
Directed by the acclaimed Ice Idanan from the original story of Acy Ramos with a screenplay by Ramos and Glaiza Ramirez, “Cara X Jagger” is a story of young lovers faced with an unlikely dilemma that could make or break their relationship.
Ex-couple Cara (Jasmine) and Jagger (Ruru) face a conflict from opposite directions. Cara does everything to forget a painful event that led to their breakup, while Jagger fights to recall his life after losing his memory following an accident.
This is Ruru’s biggest break, after being a finalist in “Protege” seven years ago. He has starred in several TV series, including “Always Robinhood,” “Let the Love Begin,”
“Encantadia,” among others, but “Cara X Jagger” is his first big-screen lead role and he promises to not disappoint.
“Cara X Jagger” is showing November 6.
