VENTURING into the great outdoors is an adventurous way of connecting with the natural world. The ultimate experience of expanding one’s knowledge and appreciation of the world’s many marvels is what keeps adventurer Ryan Pyle on this path.
Having been on numerous trekking adventures, Pyle would know that the world is vast with countless natural wonders to be explored and appreciated. In his upcoming show, “Expedition Asia with Ryan Pyle,” he brings his viewers to some of the most challenging trekking destinations across Asia.
Pyle’s first destination is the Philippines’ very own Mt. Apo. Regarded as the grandfather of Philippine mountains, it stands at 2,954 meters (9,692 ft.) making it the highest peak in the country.
Before Pyle sets out to climb Mt. Apo, he first visits the neighboring city of Davao, also known as the “Durian Capital of the Philippines,” where he interacts with the locals and gets to see what life is like in the southern part of the Philippines.
Equal parts an adventure and cultural educational program, “Expedition Asia with Ryan Pyle” brings you on a journey to some of the most incredible sights in Asia in the comfort of your own home. It premiere on June 2, at 9:50 p.m. on Discovery Channel (Sky Cable CH 39 / Cignal TV CH 140 / Destiny Cable CH 56).
