Bulakenya vies for Miss Globe 2020

ROWENA Sasuluya a.k.a. Rowena Lucero, a licensed teacher of social studies from Guiguinto, Bulacan, will represent the Philippines in Miss Globe, from October 27 to November 15 in Tirana, Albania.

The finals will take place on November 12.

Sasuluya left last Wednesday night for Tirana, Albania where she will join the rest of the delegates.

Although Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has ceased all activities related to the already started 57th Binibining Pilipinas because of the pandemic and has indefinitely postponed the search for its next queens, Petri Bozo, the president of Deliart Association which stages the annual Miss Globe, has decided to handpick and invite Binibining Pilipinas 2020 candidate Rowena Sasuluya to represent the Philippines in Albania with no burden on BPCI, and with assurances that the country’s premiere pageant organization will remain as the franchise holder for the long-running international tilt.

Meanwhile, Sasuluya, 25, has vowed, not only to adhere to all the necessary requirements for health protocols, especially involving her travel, but to represent the country in Miss Globe with honor and pride.

Sasuluya is vying for the Philippines’ third Miss Globe title, after Ann Lorraine Colis in 2015 and Maricar Balagtas in 2002.

Pageant Watch wishes Rowena Sasuluya all the best in her international pageant journey.

Pageant Watch wishes the 14 candidates of Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020 the best of luck as they go for six coveted crowns at the live finals to be held at DusitD2 The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The titles at stake are: Mrs. Asia Pacific Global, Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism, Mrs. Asia Pacific Intercontinental, Mrs. Asia Pacific Cosmopolitan, Mrs. Worldwide and Mrs. Global Universe.

The search, which conducted its preliminary competitions virtually, is an annual search by the Queen of Hearts Foundation Inc., spearheaded by CEO and Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018 Mitzie Go-Gil. The winners will be sent to their respective pageants later this year and in 2021.
