IT was a great night for Lumina Events! Last Saturday, during the nomination reveal of Aliw Awards, they clinched four nominations for two categories at this year’s upcoming awards night:  Best Special Events Production for LUVWI Charity Ball 2020 – The Abel Iloko Fashion Show and Creative Agricultural Costume Presentation, Province of La Union, as well as for Mutia Ti La Union 2020 for the 170th Founding Anniversary of the Province of La Union; and Best Special Events Director, Bernard Yabut Maybituin for both Abel Iloko Fashion Show and Mutia Ti La Union 2020.

    The Abel Iloko Fashion Show and Creative Agricultural Presentatiion is a production of La Union Vibrant Women Inc. (LUVWI) headed by Madam Vini Ortega with Lumina Events Inc. managing and staging the event at Agora Events Place, Thunderbird Resorts, San Fernando City, La Union last February 23, 2020 and directed by Bernard Yabut Maybituin.

    MutiaTi La Union 2020 is a production of the Provincial Government of La Union under Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III, with the event managed and staged by Lumina Events Inc. at Poro Point Baywalk, San Fernando City La Union last March 2, 2020, also directed by Bernard Yabut Maybituin.

    Bernard Yabut Maybituin, 45, the pride of Angono, the home of National Artists Lucio San Pedro and Carlos “Botong” Francisco and a host of other well-known artists, is the founder and captain of Lumina Events Inc. and is renowned for his creative, world-class live events including, among others, The Rocky Gathercole Anniversary Fashion Show in Sydney, Australia; the Ambassador & Ambassadress of the Philippines at Green Sun Hotel; and Kasuotang Pilipino Fashion Show in Makati – all impressively staged in 2019.
