It’s all about family on iWant this July as the streaming service debuts a pageant drama about a clan of beauty queens and brings back well-loved ABS-CBN teleseryes that impart Filipino values.
Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz headlines the iWant original series “Beauty Queens,” where she plays the matriarch of a family of pageant winners whose dreams and passions go beyond securing a crown.
Directed by Joel Lamangan, the series struts its way to iWant on July 15 and stars Maris Racal, Miss Universe-Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina, Ross Pesigan, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez.
iWant also showcases the best of ABS-CBN teleseryes with the back-to-back-to-back release of the chaptered versions of popular romance dramas “Princess and I” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, “Forevermore” led by Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, and the best of ABS-CBN 90s comedies shows such as “Palibhasa Lalaki,” “Ang TV,” “Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanta,” “OkiDoc,” and “Home Along Da Riles.”
The “BrightWin” “kilig” also continues on iWant, as the Tagalized version of the top-trending Thai series “2gether” releases new episodes at 10 p.m. daily.
