Beauty Gonzales admitted it took a while before she developed good rapport with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-actors.

Beauty was with Albert Martinez, her husband in the series; Dimples Romana, who is her stepdaughter, Adrian Alandy, Joko Diaz, and four teen stars, Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz, who plays her daughter.

“Basta nasa tent ako when I was not needed sa set. And my co-stars and the production staff let me be,” Beauty said. “At that time, I was suffering from anorexia. I later told them this. And also I was contemplating whether I did the right thing staying in ABS-CBN when I had a good offer from another network.

“Prayers really work wonders,” she continued. “I prayed to God for Him to give me a sign that I made the right decision. And obviously, I had, as ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ which aired for 16 months, is, so far, the best teleserye I’ve done.

“I’m pretty sure I will miss all my co-workers, the production staff, the crew, and most especially, my co-stars,” she added.

“Kadenang Ginto,” from Deo Edrinal’s Dreamscape Entertainment, will air its last on February 7.
