‘Karapatan ko lang sabihin na, very soon. – Vilma Santos’

VILMA Santos turned 67 November 3, and she had a special birthday guesting on “2WAD (2nyt With Allan Diones).”

Ate Vi says her birthday wish is not for her but for the whole world.

What did she do during the lockdown?

“Iniiwasan ko talaga lumabas. Work from home lang, kasi unang-una, 35 years old na ako.

Sa congress, Zoom ang meetings namin, pati sa ibang agencies to make sure our programs in Lipa ay tuloy-tuloy. Buti na lang because of technology, sanay na sanay na akong mag-Zoom.”

How about her wish for an apo?

“Yes, wish ko ng apo. Siguro, very soon. Yehey!”

Allan Diones said: “Sabi nga ni Jessy Mendiola, may pinagagawa na silang bahay ni Luis by the beach.

    From Luis or Ryan Christian?

“Kay Lucky. Basta okay na ako roon. Very soon!”

Does she plan to run president?

Did she have time to watch movies of Nora Aunor when they were younger?

“No time to watch each other’s movies. We’re so busy kasi kung minsan apat na pelikula sabay-sabay naming ginagawa, unlike now you have all the time.
What movies of Nora has she seen?

She was asked to deliver some lines identified with Ate Guy, like “walang himala.”
“Naku, huwag na nating intrigahin ‘yang mga linya na ‘yan,” she said, “Para kay Ate Guy ‘yan so let’s leave it na to her. At this point in time, hindi na importante kung Noranian ka o Vilmanian. I admit, noong ‘70s, kainitan ng rivalry namin, nag-iisnaban kami, ‘di kami nagkikibuan. But when we matured, we became friends, we even texted each other.

The fact remains that they are the two most legendary actresses in Philippine Cinema and no other actresses surpassed their rivalry. Is it true Direk Brillante Mendoza offered them a movie together?

He was asking kasi for ten days straight shooting, hindi pa recess ang congress noon.

I saw ‘Lola’ ni Direk Brillante with Anita Linda and Rustica Carpio.

Aiko Melendez just finished her three-week lock in taping for GMA-7’s hit “Prima Donnas,” in time for her to celebrate her third anniversary with Zambales Vic Governor Jay Khonghun on October 28.

Aiko revealed this in her own YouTube vlog and she gave an incredibly cloying message to her boyfriend.

She said: “I want to thank you for encouraging me to do my best, for believing in me when I can’t even believe in myself. We have our ups and downs, we get annoyed with each other, but one thing I’m certain about is I wouldn’t want this with any other.

“I’m really sorry if we fight sometimes, but no matter what, I know we will get through all these. Happy anniversary, baby! I love you! Thank you for being the person that I can rely on. There is no one I can’t think of spending the rest of my life with but you….”
And this was the reply of Aiko’s vice governor boyfriend:

“You turned my life into a journey of love and happiness. Every second I spend with you; I fall in love even more. Thank you for everything. Happy Anniversary.”

They then had a romantic dinner together to cap their anniversary celebration.

Jane Oineza was very honest at the Zoom press con for her TV5 romantic drama, “I Got You.” She’s her family’s breadwinner and she said she was jobless since the lockdown, so it was really a hard time for her and her whole family.

“Work, work, work muna po tayo kaya walang time magbakasyon, lalo sa abroad,” she said when asked if she intends to go out of town during the All Saints Day weekend. “Nakaka-miss din pong mag-travel, but marami pong nawalang pera dahil sa pandemic. And right now, ang dalangin ko po, sana, madagdagan ng second season ang ‘I Got You’ para humaba pa po ang telecast namin at may regular income.”
She’s thankful ABS-CBN allowed her to do a show with TV5.

“Kasi kahit nasa TV5 po ako ngayon, I remain to be a Star Magic Talent,” she clarified. “I’m just thankful na may blessing nila ang pagtatrabaho ko sa Brightlight Productions na producer ng ‘I Got You’ sa TV5.”

She’s also grateful that viewers are all satisfied with the acting of the three major stars (Jane, Beauty Gonzalez and RK Bagatsing) as directed by ace filmmaker Dan Villegas, based on the script of Rod Marmol.

“I play Riza, isang maarteng vlogger and the name of my vlog is ‘Riza Beautiful Day.’ I’m the current girlfriend of RK as Louie at kumonsulta ako kay Beauty as Del, isang psychological therapist dahil may problema ako sa relationship ko with him.
