ANGELICA Panganiban and Kim Chiu are two of the Kapamilya stars who shared their personal feelings about the closure of their home studio on the live chat, “Laban, Kapamilya.”

Netizens think she was able to put across her thoughts well, specially her line saying “tinanggalan ninyo ng karapatan ang mga Pilipino na makapamili ng gusto nilang panoorin.

A lot of people willingly agreed with Angelica.

In contrast to the very positive reaction to Angelica, Kim Chiu became the butt of memes and jokes because of what has been tagged as her “sa classroom may batas” speech. In defending her home network, she addressed the haters who insist that “the law is the law.”

We have to admit Kim was not able to articulate well what she is trying to say and a basher quickly posted a meme of her proclaiming her as “PBB University Summa Cum Laude.” Somehow, we pity Kim for all the bullying that she got. Some negative comments are outright “pambabastos” and even cussed her that she cannot help but answer back.

Here’s her reply to the basher: “Grabe naman, Ate!

Well-meaning friends have advised her not to answer back anymore.

Grabe sila. Ikinayayaman ba nila ang manira ng kapwa? Kung ikakayaman nila, go. Kung hindi, why waste your time? To hurt someone? I didn’t expect people can be this mean. Bakit para silang galit na galit? Inano ko ba sila? May pinatay ba akong kamag-anak nila? This people are being so mean. Grabe lang.”

Her co-stars in “Love Thy Woman,” Christopher de Leon and Zsa Zsa Padilla, quickly came to her defense saying she is such a pleasant girl to work with. Her boyfriend, Xian Lim, also came to her rescue and wrote a long post defending her.

Here’s part of Xian wrote: “Kim does not deserve to be singled out and get all the hate she is getting from people in the internet. She is a smart, empathetic person who deeply cares for all the people around her. She cares so much that it scares me.

“We are not perfect. No one is. We have our share of mishaps that shake us down to the ground but we learn and we rise back up again. My love and support go out to Kim for being a wonderful human being.
