Angelica moves on

Friends of Angelica Panganiban are rejoicing that the actress seems to have totally gotten over her ex-boyfriend, Carlo Aquino.

“It’s noticeable that even the news that Carlo brings his girlfriend Trina Candazo to showbiz functions does now seem to bother her,” noted a friend. “And it’s not because she seems ready to fall in love again. She would herself say it’s because she is satisfied with how her career is going.

“And it’s true,” continued Angelica’s friend, “‘Unbreakable,’ her movie with Bea Alonzo and Richard Gutierrez, is not only making good at the box-office, but it is also getting a lot of good feedback, especially Angelica’s performance.

“Angelica agrees that her experiences in love have helped make her mature as an actress,” the friend ended.
    Angelica is 33 years old.

Long-time friends Maricel Soriano and Sylvia Sanchez caught up with each other recently.
The two actresses have enjoyed 29 years of friendship.

“Kahit ‘di kami madalas magkita,” volunteered Sylvia. “We both used to work for Mother Lily’s Regal Films, remember? Big, big star na noon si Maricel, but she never made me feel I was a lesser star than she was. Kaya, na-miss ko siya, all the years that we’ve not seen each other. Sana, magkatrabaho kami, even sa TV lang. I was telling nga my son, Arjo (Atayde), that he was lucky he had the chance to work with his Tita Maricel (in ‘The General’s Daughter’).

“Well, Arjo simply adores his Tita Maricel,” she continued. At pangarap niyang makatrabaho niyang muli si Tita Maricel niya.”

Janella has also met Marcus’ British dad and Filipina mom.
