RUFFA Gutierrez seems keen on following her heart.
Her mother, the outspoken Annabelle Rama, has told her to find a better man.
“Pero mabait nga daw kasi si Jordan Mouyal at feel daw niya na mahal na mahal siya nito,” said someone close to Ruffa, referring to the French-Israeli businessman who is the actress’ long-time lover.
Ruffa was once married to Yilmaz Bektas, a rich Turkish businessman. We remember their grand wedding in 2003. It was the talk of the town for days.
Unfortunately, their marriage did not last. We heard Yilmaz is now married to someone else.
Meanwhile, Ruffa looks as gorgeous as when she was proclaimed Miss World several years ago. She has revived her acting career and is in “Love Thy Woman” with Kim Chiu, Yam Concepcion, Yula Valdez, Sunshine Cruz, Xian Liam, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Christopher de Leon.
The soap is a Dreamscape Television production and directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Andoy Ranay.
Ethel Booba is a happy mom.
The singer-comedienne, 43, welcomed her baby with her boyfriend, chef Jessie Salazar, this month, posting a photo on Twitter last February 14.
Ethel finished college at the University of Sto. Tomas and has been in the entertainment industry as host and singer for many years. She is also much-followed Twitter and has released her own book, “#Charotism: The Wit and Wisdom of Ethel Booba.”
Alessandra de Rossi has reportedly turned down a multi-million peso liquor brand endorsement.
The actress said no to the project – which could have made her P2 million richer – without any second thoughts.
“Una, I don’t drink liquor,” she reasoned. “Pangalawa, I don’t want to promote liquor, as I know it’s bad for one’s health lalo kung hindi alam kung hanggang saan dapat lang siyang uminom.”
The actress has no regrets. Currently, what she is excited about is reuniting with Empoy Marquez, her “Kita Kita” leading man.
Alex and Empoy are together in “Kita Kita sa Paris,” which is from Spring Films, the same company behind “Kita Kita.” Spring Films is owned by actor Piolo Pascual, director Joyce Bernal and Centerstage’s Erick Raymundo.
“To Paris, here we come,” said Empoy.
Before starting the reunion film, Alex will have to finish “Fluffy and Fream,” her directorial debut. She is paired with Piolo Pascual in the flick.
It has been a while since Piolo appeared in a film. He was in “Last Night,” with Toni Gonzaga. It was directed by Joyce Bernal, based on a story by Bela Padilla and Neil Arce.
Many of the James Reid’s fans think it was his insistence to do “Soulmate Project” with Nancy McDonie that led to his breakup with Nadine Lustre.
Nadine has openly opposed the team-up, noted fans of the ex-couple.
Well, it seems there is no stopping James and Nancy. The two are now said to be busy preparing for their first project.
“Hindi marunong ng Tagalog si Nancy,” said a kibitzer. “May mga eksena yatang pilit na makikipag-usap si Nancy kay James in Tagalog.”
Meanwhile, Nadine will reportedly do a project with Alden Richards.
They recently had an endorsement for a tuna product.
The last we heard about Nadine is she is hell bent on severing her ties with her mother company, Viva. She still has a contract with them, and it is binding, according to Viva insiders.
Did we hear it right that Nadine is ready to fight back?
