Aiana Juarez releases ‘Simula Muli (Start Over)’

    ONLINE singing sensation Aiana Juarez formally kicks-off the first quarter of 2021 with the official digital release of her newest single titled “Simula Muli (Start Over).”

    A signed artist of AmplifyD Records and represented by TalentMarketers Inc., Aiana is one of the most influential online artists known for her cover versions of popular songs that are uploaded on her official YouTube channel. She was catapulted to mainstream popularity with her cover version of Ex Battalion and OC Dawgs’s “Hayaan Mo Sila,” which received 6.2 million views. Her winning streak on YouTube is sustained with her cover of Michael Dutchi Libranda’s “Binalewala” with 9.4 million views, Shanti Dope’s “Nadarang” with 4.6 million views, and Moira and Jason’s “Ikaw At Ako” with 4 million views, while her cover of Black Pink’s “Kill This Love” has 2.1 million views.

    “Simula Muli” is the official Filipino version of “Start Over” which is originally recorded by South Korean singer Gaho as part of the soundtrack of the hugely popular 2020 South Korean television series “Itaewon Class,” that stars Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung, and Kwon Nara.

    With a mammoth 55 million views on YouTube and 14 million streams on Spotify, “Start Over” is one of the biggest and most successful singles released in Asia in 2020.

    South Korea’s Mapiacompany selected 30 artists from around the world to record their versions of “Start Over” in their own languages and Cebu-based singer Aiana was chosen to translate and record a Filipino version of “Start Over,” which was arranged by KT-P who is one of the most legendary pop composers in the history of South Korean music.

    With the bravura of her performance, Aiana’s version came out on top and the official international launch of “Simula Muli (Start Over)” is set on January 27.
