Lovi Poe had no inkling her manager, Leo V. Domingo, had a surprise in store for her last February 3 at Frazzled Cook in Quezon City.
The actress was greeted by the many people who love her, including her half-sister, Sen. Grace Poe, who came with her son, Brian Llamanzares, and colleagues, actress Dina Bonnevie, actor Tony Labruscao, director Joel Lamangan and writer Ricky Lee.
Lovi expressed gratitude for the things happening in her life. She opened the year as one of the characters in “Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday.” She also is expected to appear in a new soap and films, including Viva Films’ “Hindi Tayo Pwede,” which is slated to be shown next month. The actress has two leading men – Tony Labrusca and Marco Gallo – in the Viva movie written by Lee and directed by Lamangan.
Her wish, she said, is for good things for the country, which is reeling from the Taal eruption and noval coronavirus epidemic. Lovi turned a year older on February 11.
