Some 102,656 households, commercial and business establishments in Rizal Province will experience water interruption on March 24.
Manila Water Co. Inc. said the interruption will give way to maintenance activities at its Siruna pumping station in Mambugan, Antipolo City.
Manila Water said the supply interruption will start 6 p.m. tomorrow until 6 a.m. the next day and is expected to be felt by 81,204 water service connections in 31 barangays.
Affected areas in Antipolo City are Bagong Nayon, Beverly Hills, Mambugan, Mayamot, Cupang, Dalig, Dela Paz, Sta. Cruz, San Isidro, San Roque, San Luis, San Jose, San Juan and Inarawan.
In Teresa, barangays Poblacion, San Gabriel, May-Iba, Dulumbayan, Calumpang, Sto. Cristo, Prinza, Bagumbayan, Dalig and San Roque will be affected.
Other areas where the interruption will be experienced also include San Guillermo in Morong; Dolores in Taytay; Mahabang Parang and San Roque in Angono; and Tayuman, Pag-asa and Pantok in Binangonan.
The water concessionaire is advising affected residents to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period but reminded that after service is restored, a few minutes should be allotted for flushing before using the water from their taps.
