The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) will launch a portal that will sell local products to the world.
Francis Chua, PCCI director, said Shopall will be online beginning October 8 at the Philippine Business Conference and will initially be open to PCCI members.
Chua said Shopall will be linked to the chamber’s 60 country partners through the Philippine Business Council and eventually to the International Chambers of Commerce which has 30,000 chambers worldwide.
Chua said Shopall will run parallel to popular ecommerce sites Shopee and Lazada not as a competitor but as a complement.
“Many of our members are now using the e-commerce platforms,” said Chua, although he admitted they still have a long way to go.
Chua said fintech company Pear Pay was the architect of the portal with Leentech as contractor.
