PH eyes $31M export deals

    The Philippine delegation is targeting to attract over 1,300 buyers and generate more than $31 million worth of export sales at the world’s biggest import expo trade fair in China This is the country’s third participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China on November 5 to 10 held virtually.

    The delegation under the FOOD Philippines pavilion will feature interactive conference pods for the first time in CIIE to enable virtual business-to-business (B2B) activities and video conferencing.

    Forty Philippine companies will exhibit and sample the country’s wide range of tropical fruits and vegetables, processed fruits and nuts, healthy snacks, seafood and marine products, and other premium food selections.
