Some 47,204 household and business customers in Makati, Mandaluyong and Manila will experience a six-hour water supply interruption on August 25 to 26 to give way to leak repairs in New Panaderos, Sta. Ana, Manila.
Manila Water Corp. said the interruption will start 10 p.m. today until 4 a.m. tomorrow and will affect 230,000 people in 105 barangays.
In Manila, affected are barangays number 763 to 905; in Makati are barangays Poblacion, Valenzuela, Olympia, Carmona, Kasilawan, Tejeros, Singkamas and Sta. Cruz and; in Mandaluyong are Mabini-J. Rizal, Namayan and Vergara.
Manila Water advised affected residents to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period but reminded that after service is restored, a few minutes should be allotted for flushing before using the water from their taps.
