West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water ServicesInc. targets to complete within the year construction of three new sewage treatment plants (STPs) worth P7.15 billion capable of providing sewerage service to almost 700,000 residents in Muntinlupa and Valenzuela.
The company said the facilities being constructed in Cupang and Tunasan in Muntinlupa and in Marulas in Valenzuela can treat up to 126,000 cubic meters (cu. m.) of wastewater per day.
The company has 22 wastewater facilities with a combined treatment capacity of around 664,000 cu. m. per day and investments worth more than P42 billion.
