‘2GO CabinCargo’ offers viable alternative to air freight
Responding to the need to move essential cargo at the shortest possible time from Manila to Visayas and Mindanao, 2GO has introduced 2GO CABINCARGO.
“2GO CabinCargo is the best alternative to air freight, while the airlines are reevaluating their plans,” 2GO Chief Operations Officer Waldo Basilla said, adding that 2GO’s ropax fleet has the fastest vessels in the country offering special handling of cargoes, as well as the best lead times closest to air freight.
With 2GO CabinCargo, cargoes are loaded last on the vessels and stowed in locations, enabling first to discharge directly into a truck. Bypassing transfer to terminals and CFS hubs for unloading and handling, cargoes are directly transported to customers.
2GO CabinCargo has successfully serviced important products and documents and is currently being used by pharmaceutical and e-commerce companies, as well as businesses carrying health and beauty products.
